Our Story

Hangman Productions incorporated in Vancouver during the fall of 2001 with a focus on the conceptualization and execution of action sport events. Since its inception Hangman Productions has expanded its business to include various event properties both within and outside of the realm of action sports. In its brief history Hangman has been contracted by numerous marketing agencies and corporate partners to produce successful action sport competitions and large scale brand building event properties throughout North America.
As a boutique style event production company we offer the kind of personal attention to every project that we work on, big or small that sometimes gets lost with larger agencies. We are accustomed to handling all aspects of producing events from creation to completion of a shared vision with our partners. Producing events with budgets ranging from $5,000 to $5,000,000 Hangman has dedicated the same energy and attention to detail for all our projects no matter what the size of the budget is.
Hangman specializes in event execution. Hangman is proud of its transparent billing policy that brings with it a greater financial accountability to the client. Hangman develops real working budgets without agency margins or mark up’s of vendor expenses. Hangman will research each individual events specific staffing, infrastructure, permitting, and equipment needs and negotiate with the various local suppliers and agencies.
Hangman believes that negotiating the best possible price from every supplier is part of the responsibility of the event producer and any savings realized should be passed on to the client. Hangman maintains a large stable of various types of preferred vendors throughout North America. Through these relationships and buying power Hangman is able to pass onto its clients significant savings and vendor reliability. Hangman submits to all clients a first draft of an original event budget for approval, updated event budgets with actual costs applied leading up to an event, and a final event budget reconciliation. Included in the event budget reconciliation are the final actual costs entered into the budget as well as copies of all invoices and receipts documenting any expenditures towards the production of each event.
Hangman carries a $5 million global general liability insurance policy to provide our clients with the peace of mind that all operations are insured under the Hangman umbrella. Hangman is well versed in the acquisition of insurance certificates naming our clients as additional insured providing extra peace of mind for our clients.
